David Hayden – Chairman and CEO

David is an established visionary and technology entrepreneur. He was co-founder of the Magellan Search Engine in 1993, and served as its Chairman & CEO until he sold the company to Excite, Inc in 1996. He was founding Chairman & CEO of Critical Path, which pioneered the software and email as a hosted a service in 1997, and went public in 1999. He was named an Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999 by Ernst and Young, and the same year, Forbes named him one of the 10 “E” Gang members in their annual cover feature on technology leaders. Hayden was named one of the top100 Internet Entrepreneurs at the 2000 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and he delivered the keynote speech at the 2000 World Bank Government Borrower’s Forum in Rome. Hayden created JetEye in 2004, a web-cloud social networking company, with pioneering content aggregation technology. During this time he has also been working on his “archipelago” concept to further his goal of developing sustainable technology resource networks for disruptive technologies. He created Archipelago Global Partners in 2007 as a holding company for this work, and began focusing on building next-generation communication systems. In February of 2009 he founded CloudTalk Inc. with a group of technologists and social entrepreneurs. CloudTalk is the first platform to bring interactive asynchronous voice conversation to the social web. Among Hayden’s other accomplishments: he has served on private and public boards, including E*Trade Financial, Meet World Trade, NameTree, Catenas, Andale, Riya, Like, eHatchery, Arzoon, and WordWalla. Hayden has served on the non-profit boards of the GGNPA and the Greenwood School in California. He holds a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.

John Schneider - CTO

John Schneider is an expert in object oriented databases, analytical scientific software, enterprise workflow, web development and mobile development across several platforms. He has led teams of varying sizes, in environments from start-ups to large companies and has been successful in a wide variety of positions including developer, section manager, VP Engineering, Consulting practice director, VP Marketing and CTO. As a hands-on manager who still codes and can find the most efficient route to product delivery he is uniquely qualified as CTO at CloudTalk. After earning his BSE in Computer Science at Columbia University in 1983 he went to a small company doing UNIX OS work. From there he went to ECAD in 1985, a startup that was subsequently purchased by HP. He continued with HP until 1989 managing the CAD platform development group. He then created a software development platform at VZCorp until 1992 when he became a research lab manager for Zuken. From there he led software development for Molecular Dynamics/Amersham International/GE, a major player in the gene sequencing market. Since 2005 he has held a variety of consulting positions, including managing the Western Area partners for an IT consulting firm and pioneering a location based services company.

John Linney - CMO

John brings a solid background in leading product strategy and delivering successful software products for more than 20 years. He also has substantial international experience and has held leadership roles in engineering, business development, professional services and marketing within small and large corporations. As Executive Vice President of Product Development at No Boundary Experience beginning in 2005, John defined and helped develop the company’s software products with minimal resources and an aggressive development schedule. Prior to that from 2001 - 2005 as Vice President of Product Management at Grand Central Communications, John oversaw their award winning Business Services Network. Prior to that, at Electron Economy, as Vice President of Product Management, John led the company’s suite of products to help customers integrate disparate business processes between trading partners. During his ten years at Novell he held a variety of senior positions in engineering, product management, business development and marketing. He introduced Novell’s early internet commerce products and executed their ISV and channel partnering strategy. John has also held senior engineering positions at Digital Research. A native of the UK, John received his Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computing from West Glamorgan University

Remi Vespa - EVP, Business Development

Remi Vespa has a proven track record of 25 years in the software and semiconductor industries, including more than 15 years of experience at the CEO level. He has solid knowledge of all aspects of company management, with special emphasis on business development and operations management. Remi acquired his in-depth experience in the major market places (North America, Europe and Northern Asia), where he promoted breakthrough solutions to a wide range of companies, ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 500. His former positions include CEO, US operations, at Venus Software Corp., the 5th largest Chinese outsourcing company, CEO of Silicon Recognition, a semiconductor company located in the Silicon Valley, Senior Vice-President at Dynasty Technologies, a TX-based leading provider of high-end software solutions for mission critical applications, CEO of ICD, a leading European software company, and Senior Vice President of Groupe IBSI, the then arm of France Télécom in the Systems Integration arena (over 1,500 employees).
He is the creator of a software product (Conceptor) that became a leading solution for the analysis and design of large projects, with thousands of users worldwide.Remi has written 2 books on software outsourcing, the first as author, the second one as co-author, together with Nandan Nilekani, CEO of Infosys, Shiv Nadar, CEO of HCL, and Jiren Liu, CEO of Neusoft. Remi holds a Master of Science in mathematics from the University of Nice, France.

William Moulton – Patent, Voice and Technology Advisor

Bill has strong experience leading multidisciplinary technology teams building disruptive technologies. Bill has pioneered work on swarm search agents, semantic link analysis, data visualization, knowledge systems, voice-to-text synchronization, VLSI and FPGA chips and systems, resilient adaptive controls, autonomous robotics, and DSP audio technology. He recently served as the CTO for Energy Voyager Corporation, a clean tech-consulting firm, and as CIO for The Institute for Global Future where he leads long-range communication technology forecasting for this strategic consultancy. Bill developed search engines for the Student Loan Financial Corporation in 2009; Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) unstructured information discovery engines for tracking trends for the Institute for Global Futures in 2008; low power radar-based methods for automated visual facial and speech recognition and re-synthesis for TriCoast Films in 2004; web data mining engines using intelligent software agents and 3D data visualization for Navagent in 2003; on-demand video multimedia content production systems using voice recognition for Vodium in 2002, and he founded a company that delivered voice recognition solutions for mission critical floor trading of securities on the NYSE and ASE for Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch in the 1990s. Early in his career, Bill founded Umecorp which developed sound and tactile video game peripherals for Hasbro and Mattel, delivered expert system robotic industrial process technology for General Motors, invented expert system development tools used by Aerojet and other defense contractors, cofounded Stereographics, the early pioneer in 3D hardware technology, and introduced some of the first music software and hardware peripherals for personal computers in the 1980s.
